M.Sc. in Industrial Management is a two-year double-degree program offered by New Uzbekistan University in Uzbekistan and Hochschule Mittweida - University of Applied Sciences in Germany. This program focuses on the essentials of managing industrial operations and managing enterprises effectively.
This program is designed to provide a deep dive into industrial management across two countries. The journey begins at New Uzbekistan University for the first semester, moving to Hochschule Mittweida - University of Applied Sciences for the second semester. For the third semester, students have the option to continue studies in either location, taking advantage of the unique strengths of each institution. The final semester is dedicated to the Master's Thesis.
In addition, students will benefit from the robust industrial landscape of Saxony, home to Hochschule Mittweida. The region is known for its dynamic industry ecosystem, including advanced manufacturing, automotive, and IT. This proximity to leading-edge industrial operations offers students a unique opportunity for learning and engagement with modern industrial practices. The experience in Saxony enriches the academic journey, equipping students with practical insights and preparing them for leadership roles in the global industrial landscape.

M.Sc. in Industrial Management program includes four semesters with 120 ECTS credits. To attain a Double Master’s degree students must earn at least 30 ECTS at Hochschule Mittweida - University of Applied Sciences in the first semester.
Classes are expected to be held three times a week in the evening. Please note that the schedule is subject to change.

M.Sc. in Industrial Management is a two-year graduate program and starts in October.
Semester 1: Hosted by New Uzbekistan University, this semester delves into the foundational aspects of Industrial Management, emphasizing Strategy, Innovation, and Technology in the modern industrial landscape.
Semester 2: Takes place at Hochschule Mittweida - University of Applied Sciences, focusing on Advanced Manufacturing Processes and Project Management, equipping students with critical skills for leading industrial projects.
Semester 3: Offers students the opportunity to choose to study at either New Uzbekistan University or Hochschule Mittweida, allowing them to personalize their learning path according to their career plans.
Semester 4: The program culminates in a Master Thesis, which allows students to focus solely on their thesis, free from regular classes. They will have ongoing support and progress meetings with their supervisors from the universities to ensure their research is on track and to address real-world industrial management issues effectively.
Educational Background
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree (minimum 180 ECTS credits) awarded by an accredited higher education institution. The degree must be completed in either full-time or part-time mode of study.
Note: Your bachelor’s degree (or any higher academic degree) must be awarded by an institution recognized in the Anabin database and acknowledged as a recognized institution in the Federal Republic of Germany. The Anabin database provides information on educational institutions and degrees that have been evaluated by the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB), the official authority responsible for assessing foreign qualifications in Germany.
If your undergraduate institution is not recognized within the German education system, you may apply through the local track. Under this option, you will complete all four semesters at New Uzbekistan University and will be awarded a single Master’s degree from this university. In this case, a Master’s degree from Hochschule Mittweida - University of Applied Sciences cannot be awarded.
Minimum English Proficiency
Note: Applicants who have completed their bachelor’s degree entirely in English are not required to submit the above-mentioned language proficiency certificates.
Interview Requirement
Applicants are required to pass an interview as part of the admission process.

The interview evaluates the applicant’s readiness for the MS in Industrial Management program, including:

Interview Rules
Only applicants with the required scores in IELTS or its equivalents are eligible for the interview.
The interview is conducted in English and must be attended in person at New Uzbekistan University.
Each interview lasts 10 - 15 minutes.
Each applicant may attend the interview only once.
